The 7-day Northern Vietnam adventure unlocks the beauty of Hanoi’s capital with historical and cultural highlights, Sapa’s magnificent mountains and ethnic minority villages, and the UNESCO heritage bay of Halong.
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City tour
Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. Start the Vietnam tour with typical Vietnamese places of worship in Hanoi Capital, namely Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda on the bank of West Lake. Then, visit the Ancient House on a tranquil street in the Old Quarter. Later, watch a traditional water puppet show before returning to your hotel. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Bus to Sapa – Cat Cat (B)
Take the bus to Sapa in the early morning. Arrive in Sapa at noon. After checking in your hotel, you will trek downhill to Cat Cat Village and enjoy a stunning view of the mountain along the way. You will see a waterfall, a hydroelectric station, and terraced rice paddy fields. Later, arrive in Y Linh Ho village – the home of Black Hmong people, take a rest here before returning to the main road. Our driver will pick you up there and transfer you back to Sapa. Meals are on your own and overnight in Sapa.
Day 3: Fansipan – Rong May Glass Bridge – Heaven Gate – Silver Waterfall (B)
In the morning, our driver & tour guide take you to Cable Car Station to Fansipan Mountain. Enjoy 20-minute cable car route with majestic scenery of the mountain. After reaching an altitude of 2800 meters, you have around 1.5 hours to visit a pagoda, witness the stunning view, and trek 600 steps to the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina.
In the afternoon, our driver will take you to Sapa Glass Bridge on top of O Quy Ho Pass, around 500m above Hoang Lien Son Mountain and 2000m above sea level. Here you can capture the 360-degree panoramic view of the mountain and enjoy the fresh air. Heading back to your hotel in Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Bus to Hanoi (B)
Have a free morning before catching your bus back to Hanoi at 2:30 PM. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B, L, D)
Our driver picks you up at your hotel and transfers you to Halong via the Expressway. Transferred by tender boat to check in on Elite of the Seas Cruise. Savor a hearty lunch and check in your cabin. Then, take part in kayaking activity on the bay or relax in the pool onboard. You may want to take pictures with the bay by cruise’s drone at the Sundeck area. A sunset party and cooking demonstration will take place while you enjoy Happy Hour from the bar. After dinner, you have free time to try squid fishing on the main deck or experience other facilities such as swimming pool, spa, mini-golf, etc. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 6: Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi (B, L)
Early risers may want to capture the sunrise and join a golf class at 5:45 – 6:15. A Taichi lesson will then be instructed at the golf course area. Enjoy breakfast in the restaurant while the ship moves to the next stop. Get on a local rowing boat to visit Dark-Bright Cave – a cave with half under the water and leads to a tranquil lagoon. Back to the vessel and prepare for check out from 9h30 – 9h45. Buffet brunch is served before you disembark. For any cost incurred (spa & massage, drinks, etc), you can settle at the reception. The speedboat brings you back to Tuan Chau Marina. Our driver transfers you to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Tripends.
