Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Arrive in Noi Bai international airport, you will be then picked up and transferred to the city center. It’s a free day for your leisure. Meals are on your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
After breakfast, we will start your day with a city tour around the Ho Chi Minh complex, the ancient Temple of Literature, the Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarters with the highlight of Dong Xuan Market. At the end of the day, you will have chance to see an interesting traditional Water Puppet Show before returning to your hotel. Lunch included. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau Sightseeing – Mai Chau (B, L, D)
The journey starts with a drive to Mai Chau in Hoa Binh province (approximately 135km from Hanoi). Coming there, you will have chance to see many White Thai ethnic people, beautiful rice fields and green mountains which are entirely away from Hanoi’s hustle. Reach Mai Chau valley after travelling along Cun Slop, 12km from Cao Phong District. Lunch will be served together with the finest rice wine. In the afternoon, get on a bicycle to explore the village and farmers’ lives. Dinner and overnight in a homestay in Mai Chau.
Day 4: Mai Chau Hiking – Hanoi (B, L)
Soon after our driver take you to a delightful jungle; you will join a hiking tour to a village of Muong ethnic perched on a beautiful plateau with stunning view over Da River. Continue to visit Xa Linh, the village of Mong people. Back to Mai Chau for lunch before we drive back to Hanoi. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Halong – Overnight On Cruise (B, L, D)
In the morning, our drive will pick you up and transfer to Halong Bay at around noon. Lunch is included onboard. In the afternoon, take time to visit Amazing Cave (about 40mins) before we return to the boat and relax. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Day 6: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)
The journey today starts with an energetic Tai Chi session prior to a hearty breakfast at the restaurant. After that, the cruise takes you to TiTop Island where you can enjoy swimming in emerald water and stunning view on the top of the island. Return to the boat and check out the cabin. Lunch is included while the cruise returns to the pier. Back to Hanoi and enjoy dinner on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi Fly to Hue – Hue City Tour (B)
This morning, you will take a flight to Hue and then join a city tour to the former Imperial Palace, the towering Thien Mu Pagoda, symbol of Hue and Tu Duc Tomb. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Drive to Danang – City tour (B)
This morning, you will transfer to Danang and check in your hotel in the afternoon. Join a half-day tour with visit to Marble Mountain, Linh Ung Pagoda with the 67m figure of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and finally Cham Museum where has a remarkable collection of Cham statues and artifacts from 7th to 15th century. Return to your hotel in Danang. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Danang.
Day 9: Danang – Drive to Hoian – Cooking Class (B, L)
Today, you will be transferred from Danang to Hoian and then attend a very special Vietnam cooking class with the help of our cook. Firstly, you will stroll to Hoian’s vibrant market and pick up fresh ingredients for your own dishes. After that, enjoy a tasty dinner with your own dishes. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 10: Hoian Free At Leisure (B)

Day 11: Hoian – Danang – Fly to Dalat – City Tour (B)
Today, you will take a flight from Danang to Dalat. Upon arrival, you will visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery – the largest Zen Monastery of Vietnam. On the way back, stop by Bao Dai Summer Palace where the last King of Nguyen Dynasty and Vietnamese history stayed. Free evening to explore Dalat at night. Meals are on your own and overnight in Dalat.
Day 12: Dalat Sightseeing (B)
Today, you will go sightseeing over Dalat’s major spots including Cam Ly waterfall, Nguyen Huu Hao temple, Van Thanh village and jungle forests. On the way, you will also visit Elephant Waterfall – the most natural and majestic waterfall in Lam Dong, Vegetable and Flower farms, Silk factory, Linh An pagoda with the big Happy Buddha and Tea and Coffee Plantations. The journey comes to an end with a visit to Lam Dong Museum (Ethnic Minority Museum) and the Palace of Nam Phuong Queen – the first spouse of the last King in Vietnam. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 13: Dalat – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City– City tour (B)
This morning, catch a flight from Lien Khuong airport to Saigon for an orientation tour to city’s major attractions including the Reunification Palace, Central Post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and War Museum. Return to your hotel. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel – Tay Ninh (B, L)
We will continue our journey with excursion to Cu Chi Tunnel (60km ~ 1.5 hour). Spend about 2 hours to explore the destination before we enjoy typical boiled tapioca and hot tea and continue to drive to Cao Dai where houses the great Cao Dai temple and assist one of the four daily ceremonies. After lunch, return to Saigon. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Saigon.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Can Tho (B, L)
At 08:00 AM, we will drive you to Cai Be for a journey through the town’s floating market. From there, have a closer look at locals’ lives on water and their trading activities. Continue to sail and stop at an island where you can enjoy seasonal fruits. Head to Vinh Long and then get back to Can Tho. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Can Tho.
Day 16: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Join a morning boat to Cai Rang floating market to experience one of the biggest markets on the river where all trading activities are on the water in the lower part of the Mekong. Our van will pick you up and return to Saigon. Enjoy a lunch break en route. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 17: Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Today is free at your leisure for last minute shopping or sight-seeing before driving to the airport to catch your departure flight home by our driver. Trip ends.
