The tour takes you on a Vietnam adventure with all must-see destinations, from the heritage site of Halong Bay to the ancient capital Hue, the tranquil town of Hoi An, and dynamic Saigon city.
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour (B)
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will pick up and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi downtown. At 9:00 am, start the day tour with highlights of Hanoi such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), the traditional stilt house, One-Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, take a visit to the first university – Temple of Literature and Vietnam National Museum of History. Then, explore Ngoc Son Temple in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. End the tour by watching a traditional water puppet show. Back to your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Ha Noi – Halong Bay Cruise (B, L, D)
Our driver picks you up at your hotel and transfers you to Halong via the Expressway. Transferred by tender boat to check in Stellar of the Seas cruise. Savor a hearty lunch and check in your cabin. Then, join kayaking or a local rowboat to visit Dark and Bright Cave. Then, you have time to swim before back to the cruise to join a cooking demonstration and Happy Hour from the bar. Have dinner. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B, L)
Early risers may want to capture the sunrise and join a Taichi lesson at the golf course area at 6:10 – 6:30 am. Have a light breakfast in the restaurant while the ship moves to the next stop. Enjoy kayaking at Ao Ech Area for around 1 hour. Back to the vessel and prepare for check out from 9h30 – 9h45. A brunch is served before you process the payment for personal expenses (spa & massage, drinks, etc). Disembark at around 11:00 am. Our driver transfers you to the airport for your flight to Hue. Meals on your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day 4: Hue Sightseeing (B)
Breakfast at your hotel before starting Hue city tour. In the morning, join a sampan boat trip along Perfume River to visit King Ming Mang’s Tomb of Nguyen Dynasty and the traditional Thien Mu Pagoda on the banks of the river. Lunch in the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you explore Hue Citadel and Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and King Tu Duc’s Tomb. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue – Hoi An Walking Tour (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. The driver takes you to Hoi An. At 2 pm, visit Hoi An Ancient Town on foot. You have a chance to witness impressive architecture dating back 16 – 17th century such as the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and the Tan Ky Chinese-style trading house. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An – Danang – Fly to Saigon – City tour(B)
The driver will transfer you to Danang airport for the flight to Saigon. Check-in at your hotel and start the city tour in the most dynamic city in Vietnam. You will visit the landmarks namely the Reunification Palace, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the War Museum. Lastly, explore Ben Thanh Market where you can shop for souvenirs, see the trading activities and try to bargain like locals. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 7: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon (B, L)
From Saigon, start a 2.5-hour drive to Cai Be. Join a private boat to explore Cai Be floating market. Cruise to an ancient house on An Binh Island, enjoy tropical fruit and have lunch. Back to the motor boat to the Nursery Garden of Mr Tam Ho before visiting brick and pottery kilns. Return to Saigon in the afternoon. Free time in the evening. Dinner is on your own way. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 8: Saigon Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Our driver transfers you to the airport for your flight back home. Trip ends.
