Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Private airport pick-up. Free at the rest of the day. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)

You will join a group tour visit around Hanoi City and you can see a lot of famous attractions such as Ho Chi Minh Complex, the Temple of Literature, and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Finish the tour with an hour walking around Hanoi Old Quarters to discover Hanoians’ daily life. Return to your hotel. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Hanoi.


Day 3: Hanoi – Halong (B, L, D)

Morning pick up and transfer to Halong Bay. Welcome onboard on a traditional wooden boat/ cruise. Time to refresh and unwind. Visit TiTop for swimming or watching stunning views of the bay by doing a short trek. Meals included and overnight onboard.


Day 4: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)

Early risers can join us for stunning view of the bay in the morning. Mingling yourself in the beautiful grotto before back to the boat and head back to the dock. Return to your hotel in Hanoi. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Hanoi.


Day 5: Hanoi – Hue (B)

This morning, you will take a flight to Hue and then get to your hotel. In the afternoon, our guided half-day city tour will take you to the Citadel, the Forbidden Purple City and Tu Duc Tomb. Meals are on your own and overnight in Hue.


Day 6: Hue – Hoian (B, L)

In the morning, after breakfast, you will get to know more about Hue ancient city via a private boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Tomb. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, leave Hue to Hoian via the scenic Hai Van Pass. On the way, stop to visit Cham Museum and some handicraft villages at the foot of Marble Mountain. Check in your hotel and enjoy free leisure. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hoian.


Day 7: Hoian – My Son – Hoian free (B)

In the morning, you will visit My Son Hollyland which is 50km southwest of Hoian. The capital and religious center of Cham people in the past now remains a tourist spot with remnants of red brick towers and sanctuaries. Return to Hoian town at noon. Free at the rest of the day. Meals are on your own and overnight in Hoian.


Day 8: Hoian – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City – Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B)

Today, you will transfer to Saigon and travel around to various city’s highlights such as Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Saigon.


Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong River Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

This morning, leave Saigon for Cai Be (120km/ ~2.5 hours) and then take a private boat trip around Cai Be floating market. The journey continues with a visit to an ancient house on An Binh Island with plenty of seasonal tropical fruits and a great lunch there. Take a short row on a local sampan before getting back the motor-boat to visit the Nursery Garden and brick and pottery kilns. In the afternoon, drive back to Saigon. Dinner on your own and overnight in Saigon.


Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City Free (B)

We depart from Saigon to Cu Chi (60km ~ 1.5 hour), which has been a legendary for its over 200km of tunnels. In the past, this was a ‘Free Target Zone’ during the war and now becomes a popular tourist destination. After about 1 hour exploring the tunnels, you will enjoy a cup of tea and cassava (guerrilla’s food in the war) before returning to Saigon. Free at the rest of the day. Meals are on your own and overnight in Saigon.


Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City Flight to Siemreap (B)

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Siemreap. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel by our driver and local guide. Free at the rest of the day. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Siemreap.


Day 12: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat Temples (B, L)

Today, you will visit Angkor Thom (the Great City) including the South Gate, famous Bayon temple, Baphuon temple, Terrasse of Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King and Phimean Akas temple. Lunch included at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to discover Angkor Wat temple, the largest monument of Angkor group which is still well-preserved until now. The next destination is a natural stone mountain called Phnom Bakheng (mountain temple). Then, enjoy sunset view on Angkor Wat before returning to your hotel in Siemreap. Dinner on your own and overnight in Siemreap.


Day 13: Phnom Kulen And The Ben Mealea Temple (B, L)

This morning, you will visit Phnom Kulen, an impressive sandstone plateau raised above this flat area which is considered to be the birthplace of Khmer Empire. Continue to travel around 65km further to visit the quiet Beng Mealea for a short walk through lush jungle. Coming there, you have a unique chance to climb through Beng Mealea, giving a very ‘Indiana Jones’ feel to the experience. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Sieamreap.


Day 14: Siem reap out (B)

Free until time for your transfer to the airport for your flight back home by our driver. Trip ends.
