Day 1: Saigon City Tour
Start the Vietnam tour with historic landmarks and sites in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). This half-day tour brings you to Ho Chi Minh Hall, Reunification Palace, and War Remnants Museum. Besides, travelers can witness the old Saigon architecture expressed in Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and the Jade Emperor Pagoda. The last stop is a local market where you can learn about daily life and explore the local products. Transferred back to your location.
Day 2: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Saigon – Fly to Hanoi
Day 2 brings you to visit the Mekong Delta from 8:00 am. Boarding a private boat at My Tho Pier (My Tho City), you will see the Rach Mieu Cable-stayed Bridge – the longest bridge in the area. Then, visit a bee farm, floating fish farms, and a candy workshop. Here you can taste honey tea and coconut candy – a specialty of Ben Tre Province. Then, take a motor cart throughout the beautiful villages, enjoy tropical fruit. Get on a rowing boat to get to a local restaurant. After lunch, cruise back to My Tho City. Heading back to Sai Gon with a stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda. Catch your flight to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi City Tour
Tour guide picks you up at 9:00 am. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), the traditional stilt house and the reserved One-Pillar Pagoda. Next, explore Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shore of West Lake. Head to the very first university in Vietnam – Temple of Literature. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) and Ngoc Son Temple at Hoan Kiem Lake. In the evening, watch a water puppet show before dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise
Pick up at your hotel between 8:15 – 8:45 am. Arrive at Tuan Chau Pier, embark on Amanda Halong Cruise. Enjoy lunch while the ship cruises to Halong Bay.The first stop is Luon Cave where you can kayak or sit leisurely on a sampan boat rowed by a local and enjoy the stunning view. Return to the boat and move to Ti Top Island for hiking and swimming at the beach. Back onboard at around 17:30 and participate in Sunset party & cooking class with Happy Hour at the bar (Buy 2 get 1 drink free). Enjoy dinner and evening activities such as massage (extra charge), herbal wood foot bath in your room (free of charge 01 herbal bag for each cabin), bamboo dancing, fashion show traditional costumes “Footsteps of Heritage” or fish squid. Overnight onboard.
Day 5: Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi Departure
Take part in a Tai Chi session on the top deck to refresh your body and mind. Enjoy a light breakfast before the 2nd excursion. Visit Surprise Cave – the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Back onboard, check out your cabin. Enjoy the early buffet lunch onboard while the ship cruises back to the pier. Disembark at around 11:00 am. Get on the bus, back to Hanoi at 2:00 – 2:30 pm. Driver picks you up at 5 pm for the departure flight.
